The ThinkTank Lens Changer LC75 Pop-Down carries a 70-200/f2.8 with hood inverted. Or release the 'pop-down' bottom section to carry it with the hood in the shooting position. The lightly padded compressible top has a bungee cord closure, and it comes with a pullout/detachable weatherproof cover. The wide mouth opening gives quick access to the lens, and on the front is a pocket to keep the lens cap.
