The GS5321V100 half bowl adapter allows a Systematic Series 5 tripod to be used with any 100mm diameter half ball fluid head. The adapter fits all Systematic carbon fibre tripods, including older models. However, it works particularly well with the safety catch feature of newer Systematics, which prevents the centre accessory falling out, even if the top casting is inadvertently left unlocked.
