An 82mm graduated neutral density filter which reduces light transmission by 4 stops at its densest point. Made from Hoya's top quality optical glass, with anti-reflection and water repellent coatings on both sides, in a slimline rotatable 3mm thick mount.
Graduated filters are used to balance a bright part of an image with a darker part - typically a sky and foreground. Whether using film or digital, this helps retain detail in both areas.
Although it's possible to rotate the graduation line, it can't be vertically adjusted like a square system graduate. However, circular graduated filters take up much less space than a square filter system.
