The BasicPod is a compact, strong, and very light support which can be used as a simple mini/table tripod or in conjunction with Novoflex Quadroleg tripod legs as used with the TrioPod range. So it can form the centre part of a light and easily carried hiking tripod.
Will support 15kg.
45mm diameter, which suits the Novoflex BALL 30 or other similar size compact ball heads.
Includes 3 x 15cm mini legs, which can be set at 25° and 80° angles to give working heights of 4.7cm or 14.5cm.
Central shoulder weighs just 52g, 260g less than the TRIOPOD, so the BasicPod offers significant a weight saving when used with any of the Novoflex QuadroLegs to form a full-size tripod.
Kits including the BasicPod, a BALL 30 head, two QLEG III trekking poles plus either a 4- or 5-section carbon fibre leg are available.
