The Saramonic Vmic Mini is a very compact and lightweight directional microphone for DSLR and mirrorless cameras, camcorders, and using the supplied cable, compatible smartphones and tablets. It is robustly constructed, and features an integrated shock mount and slip-on foam windscreen with rubber gasket. The standard shoe mount includes a locking ring. The 14mm condenser capsule requires no internal battery power and produces high quality sound which is significantly superior to internal camera microphones.
