Novoflex CASTEL-MINI Focusing Rack

The CASTEL-MINI is a compact and lightweight focusing rack for most DSLR and 35mm cameras. It's a very useful aid for macro photography, because at very close distances normal focusing with a lens becomes difficult or impossible. To focus, the complete camera/lens assembly needs to be moved backwards and forwards, and a rack enables this to be achieved easily and quickly. The Castel-Mini uses a double rack system to achieve 135mm of movement in only 133mm overall length, and has rack-and-pinion gearing to give precise control without any backlash. Both control knobs can be locked.
