The 5-section BasicPod BPC2253W creates a super-lightweight support option for photography, perfect for hikers, climbers, skiers and anyone needing a compact but strong support with minimum weight. The BPC2253W Kit comprises two high quality QLEG III walking poles with detachable hand grips. These poles are used in combination with a 5-section carbon fibre leg to create a tripod. Alternatively, 3 x 15cm mini legs attach to the BasicPod to enable ground level photography. A strong and light BALL 30 head is also included. All up weight, including the kit bag is only just over 1kg.
The 4-section QLEG III poles are made by Austrian specialists Komperdell for Novoflex, and weigh just 240g each. The sections screw together, which gives great rigidity, and have internal retaining elastic.
5-section carbon fibre QLEG C2253 is 31.5cm when closed. The BasicPod can be used with any of the Novoflex QLEGs.
BALL 30 head is all-metal and has a grease-free ball with a corrosion-resistant surface, making it ideal for used in inclement weather.
Monopod adapter converts the QLEG into a monopod.
