The Leofoto Poseidon LP-284C with LH-30 Ball Head has 10-layer Toray carbon fibre legs with a distinctive blue finish. Designed for use in the harshest conditions, it can safely be placed in sea water as feet and lower metal parts are made from corrosion-resistant titanium alloy. Leg locks, which feature silicon pads, are sealed to stop water and sand getting in, making the tripod effectively maintenance-free. The no centre column design makes it very compact when folded and adds to stability.
The Toray 100% carbon fibre tube set has a 28mm top tube diameter and a cross-rhombus construction to increase rigidity and reduce vibration.
Low profile LH-30 ball head features a pan base, and has an Arca-compatible quick release with 50mm camera plate.
The included spiked feet, tube plugs and the screws on the rubber feet are made from a corrosion resistant titanium alloy, far superior in performance than stainless steel.
Sealed leg locks prevent sand and water ingress.
Legs can be set at 3 angles. No centre column enables a very low option.
Two 1/4” mounting points for accessory arms.
