The Novoflex BALL 40 is a medium size ball and socket head with excellent strength for its size, and with components designed for reliable use in the most arduous conditions. All parts are made from corrosion-free materials, so it can be safely dunked in salt water, and no grease is used in the ball mechanism. This means it lacks any resistance in the movement, although the side lock knob can be used to provide some friction if required. This knob also secures the revolving base.
