The CB48F II is the ideal size for most photographers looking for a large and strong ball and socket head, and the hollow ball gives it a high strength-to-weight ratio.
The hollow 48mm ball is CNC machined from high grade aluminium alloy, and coated to give a silky smooth operation.
A large and easy to grasp locking knob has a concentric black friction control ring which allows exactly the right amount of drag to be set relative to the load.
Supplied with removeable standard platform.
FLM and other makers' quick release adaptors with a 3/8" socket can also be attached to the screw using threadlock adhesive. See below.
