The MT190XPRO4 is a stylish compact professional tripod with tilting centre column and 4-section legs, with a closed length of just 49cm but a 'standard' working height of 160cm.. It features new design leg locks which allow the legs to be extended or collapsed in one swift movement with a one-handed operation. Legs can be individually set at one of four angles. An EasyLink socket in the top casting allows a variety of Manfrotto arms (or other types with a 3/8" screw) to be attached to support accessory items. The top platform has a spirit level which can be rotated to the most convenient position for viewing.

  • Centre column tilt mechanism is quick and easy to activate. A single button push allows the red collar to slide upwards enabling the column to be set at 90°, greatly increasing the versatility of the tripod. Compared to previous models, it also reduces the tripod’s closed length.
  • Quick Power Leg locks are designed to be grasped together in one hand to allow rapid unlocking to extend the legs. The same applies when you pack the tripod away. They can be pushed back to lock in one move.
  • An extremely useful feature is the inclusion of a 3/8” ‘Easy Link’ socket in the top casting, which allows a whole range of Manfrotto or other makers’ accessories to be fitted – like arms to support lights or clamps to hold reflectors. 125 or 147 adaptors will convert this socket to a male 3/8” or ¼” thread if required.
  • A spirit level sits at the side of the machined top plate. The level can be rotated around the plate so that it doesn’t interefere with the head locking knob. The usual Manfrotto grub screw is provided so that the head can be prevented from unscrewing accidentally.
  • 4-section legs can be set at four different angles by depressing the flush-mounted levers at the top of the column.
