The Manfrotto Befree is an innovative design travel tripod complete with ball head. Its reverse-folding 4-section legs save space when folded, and in addition the legs have a D section which reduces the folded bulk of the tripod, together with the novel offset leg hinges. Switches built in to the top of each leg allow two leg angles to be set. The ball and socket head has a quick release plate (Manfrotto's standard 200PL pattern), which attaches to a platform with a scalloped shape to allow the head to fit neatly between the legs when folded. To complete the package, the Befree is supplied with a stylish padded carrying case.
