If you're new to film/analogue photography there are many places around the internet from YouTube to Instagram and several forums to learn and be inspired. However, some of the information can be sketchy, and if you're the sort of person who prefers to absorb information by reading, the Ilford Photo website has an excellent Learning Zone area which covers all the topics a beginner needs to know, from the different film types, loading and exposing, to processing and printing. Maybe you're a former film user who's getting a bit disillusioned with digital and interested in experimenting with larger formats. The Expert Series of articles takes on large format cameras, zone focusing and more advanced printing techniques. In the Gallery and Magazine areas there are many excellent photos and stories to take inspiration from. These are being added to weekly, and you can follow updates on Instagram.
