The Samyang 800mm f8 DX is a manual focus reflex mirror lens for Full Frame or APS-C size sensor cameras, with a universal T-Mount. This type of lens construction creates a high magnification lens with a short overall length and relatively light weight. Its fixed f8 aperture means that for best results always use the lens with a tripod, and it will create the attractive ‘doughnut’ shaped out of focus highlights typical of a mirror type lens. The T-mount must be purchased separately and simply screws on the rear of the lens, so if you change camera it’s easy to convert the lens for a modest price. Carrying bag included.
