Samyang 8mm T3.1 Cine UMC Fisheye II Sony E

The Samyang 8mm T3.1 Cine UMC Fisheye II for Sony E is a manual focus fish-eye lens. It creates a 180° rectangular image with APS-C sensors (view measured corner-to-corner), equivalent to 12mm on FullFrame/35mm. Two aspherical and three extra low dispersion lens elements, together with Ultra Multi Coating minimise chromatic aberrations and flare, and it focuses as close as 30cm. The short focal length provides great depth of focus which means that precise focusing is made unecessary in most situations – ideal for snatched pictures. Uncoupled geared aperture and focusing rings ensure quiet and unobtrustive shooting. A built-in petal shaped lens hood gives maximum shading for the extreme angle of view.
