The VideoMic Pro-R is a high resolution super-cardioid condenser microphone which rejects sounds from the side and rear to focus on the subject in front of the camera. It upgrades the very popular VideoMic Pro design with a Rycote Lyre shock mount which greatly suppresses handling noise from the camera. Further noise reduction can be achieved with the high pass filter which reduces rumble. A +20dB boost also effectively reduces the noise inherent in most DSLR audio circuits.
