Uses a a high quality omni-directional condenser capsule picking up sound equally from all around the microphone, giving versatile mounting options.
A foam pop shield is supplied to minimise wind noise and vocal plosives (hard ‘b’, ‘t’ and ‘p’ sounds), as well as a durable mounting clip with in-built cable management.
The smartLav has a TRRS jack, and is compatible with any audio app that accepts input from the headset connection. It has been specially designed to work with the Rode's Rec app for iOS devices, which gives a wide range of control and editing options.
