  • The three-way head has two independent handles. One controls both pan and tilt movement, and the second controls side-to-side levelling. A unique mechanism allows the levers to be folded when the head is not in use, making the tripod easier and more convenient to carry.
  • Reinforced 5-section legs with quick release levers, together with the head, give a useful 165cm maximum working height, yet fold into a compact and easy to transport package.
  • The Compact Advanced is designed to work perfectly with lighter cameras up to 3kg, such as compact DLSRs with a typical telezoom, or CSC and bridge cameras. Note that some of these cameras have tripod sockets very close to the end of the base plate. Manfrotto recommend a minimum distance of 13mm to guarantee stability. A plate is included for cameras like the Sony NEX 5R/5T with a very small base area to improve the grip when attached to the tripod.
