The 90mm F2.8 SP Di Macro VC USD (F017) for Canon takes the superlative optical performance for which the Tamron 90mm is renowned, and adds the latest lens technology features - eBAND and BBAR anti-reflection nano coating, XY-Shift compensation with Vibration Compenstion which improves image stabilization at any shooting distance from infinity to macro. Advances in USD control software have also increased AF focusing speed. The smooth high quality metal exterior has added water and dust protection. Lastly, there is a fluorine coating on the front element to prevent condensation and minimise grease-based smudges.
