A simple and robust DSLR handgrip to support a side-mounted flash, LED light or when shooting video, a back-up GoPro or other action camera. Its lightweight aluminium 208mm long baseplate has an Arca-Swiss profile, so will fit many makers' quick release bases. It has a standard 1/4" tripod mounting socket, The UltraPlate 208 can be detached and used on its own: with eight 1/4" threaded holes, it offers a variety of mounting positions for all sorts of equipment. The strap slot at the end allows it to be used with a handstrap.

Configure the Hand Grip and UltraPlate 208 as a flash bracket with the addition of the Joby Locking Arm and Universal Flash Shoe. Your flash or video light can be angled away from the camera, and can be set up in portrait or landscape position.
Alternatively, if you need to shoot action video while capturing stills or close-up video with your DSLR you can add a Locking Arm or GorillaPod Arm to mount an action video camera and place it where you want it. Even if using a long lens, the action cam can be swung out and forward to get an unobstructed shot. For mounting a GoPro, add the Action Adapter Kit for increased flexibility.
