The GH5381SQD Systematic low profile head is designed to provide stability and ease of use with long lenses. Fitting into the top aperture of Gitzo Systematic tripods, its low profile greatly increases stability. The hydraulic locking system is activated by rotating a knurled collar at the top of the head, so there are no levers to snag or accidentally release. Its low weight and compact size make it easy to transport too.

Note the as the head is designed for use with long lenses, which have their own rotating collar, it does not feature a 90° slot.
The head is compatible with the safety catch feature of Gitzo's latest Systematic range, offering secure, accident-proof support, even during changeovers of centre components. A GS5300S step-up adapter ring is included with the head to allow it to be used on any Series 2, 3, 4 or 5 Systematic tripod.
Plate supplied is the Arca-Swiss profile GS5370D (55x70mm). A longer GS5370LD (55x140mm) is also available.
