Cactus Laser Trigger LV5

The Cactus LV5 Emitter and Sensor set allows you to freeze action and capture great wildlife shots remotely. It uses a combination of wireless and infra-red detection to allow triggering in two ways, and can be linked to Cactus V6 and RF60 units to allow an unlimited number of flashguns to be triggered with the camera.

  • Cactus LV5 combines laser and radio frequency (RF) technology in a single device. It can be triggered in two ways by: (1) blocking the transmission between the laser Emitter and Sensor; or (2) removing the object between the laser Emitter and Sensor.
  • Works wirelessly with the Cactus V6 trigger or RF60 flash. There's a built-in Cactus V6 transceiver module in the Sensor to enable triggering of an unlimited number of portable flashes.
  • Maximum working distance between Emitter and Sensor in a dark environment is 150m; in bright sunlight this is reduced to 20m.
  • Supports single and continuous and bulb shutter settings. Shutter delay and post-shutter freeze period is adjustable in 15 divisions.
  • Radio frequency 2.4GHz; 16 channels. Laser frequencies 500Hz and 1KHz. Devices powered by 2 x AAA batteries.
