The NEX/CO is a precision-made adapter to mount Pentax M42 screw lenses on a Sony E-mount (NEX) camera body, retaining infinity focus, but losing all other connections. Made in Germany to tight tolerances, Novoflex body adapters have negligible play between the adapted lens and body.
All Novoflex NEX adaptors are suitable for both CSC and full-frame A series cameras.

Internal surfaces are painted with a specialist dead black paint to reduce light reflection to virtually zero.
The ASTAT-NEX Tripod Mount Ring is available as an accessory for this adapter. It removes strain from the adapter and lens mount when attaching a long or heavy lens. It also comes with a shim to allow use with Sony E-mount lenses (inner diameter 61.75mm).
