The GT2543L is longer tube version of the 4-section Carbon eXact carbon fibre 2 Series tripod offering a maximum working height of 179cm. It can be used most DSLR and lens combinations, depending on the head selected.

  • Series 2 tripods cope with most loading requirements and offer easy portability. They have good torsional rigidity and will take an SLR with lens up to 300mm, semi-pro DV camcorder or spotting scope.
  • This version has longer 4-section tubing, giving a maximum height of 175cm, but still with the ability to get down to a 17cm lowest operating level.
  • Legs have anti-rotation grooves for speedy opening and closing, and Gitzo's new G-Lock system, allowing greater loading and increasing leg rigidity.
  • The redesigned head platform includes a 'Safe Lock' surface, and can be removed from the column and placed directly on the legs for low-level work. A grub screw also can be used to prevent the head unscrewing, should this be necessary.
  • The column can be reversed, and has a retractable hook to hang a bag or similar item for extra stability.
  • Three position leg angles allow very low level working.
  • The rubber feet can be removed, for replacement with spikes or cup feet.
  • Supplied in a recyclable textile drawstring anti dust bag.
