The latest version of the Novoflex ClassicBall 3 ball and socket head can be used conventionally, or upside down as a levelling panning base. The panoramic base has damped movement, degree markings and can be independently locked. Three vertical 90° slots allow 180° side-to-side movement, and friction control is by click stops, which allows a precise, repeatable setting for different loads. The ball lock lever has a short throw and minimal bulk to avoid snagging and give easy use, even with gloves. Top and bottom connections are reversible 1/4" or 3/8" screw, or 3/8" socket (this can be adapted to 1/4" if required).
