Manfrotto 494 is a small but strong ball head with a double slot, which allows +90°/-90° tilt. It's an ideal tripod for compact digital cameras where a quick release is not required. A separate friction control knob allows the ball movement to be matched to the load. The ergonomically-shaped locking knob can be repositioned by pulling it sideways, moving it to the required position, and releasing.
