Another example of Novoflex ingenuity, the PATRON is a high quality umbrella manufactured in Germany, with its spokes made of a special material which can withstand repeated turning inside and out.
It will protect against wind and rain and offers UV protection of 50+. But it can do much more!
Use as a reflector: Inverted, the silver side can be used as a reflector. An optional pack of 5 foils in sunlight, silver, gold, white and black is available.
Use as a monopod: The end cap pulls away to reveal a 1/4" screw allowing a camera to be attached. Working height is adjustable from 77mm to 115mm.
Use as an emergency tripod: Will support a small compact or mirrorless CSC type camera.
Use as a flash reflector: The QPL-PATRON clamp allows the umbrella to be securely supported on a tripod or heavy-duty stand. A flash clamp can be attached to the 1/4" mount.
Use as a sun or rain protector: The supplied elasticated cords allow the PATRON to be attached to backpack straps or other handy support, or the QPL-PATRON can be used.
As a photo hide, sun screen or mobile dressing tent: Two tents, in olive or sand, are available. These drape over the PATRON umbrella and can be pegged to the ground.
