By using four legs, the circle of stability is greatly increased. Heavy lenses can be used with complete confidence in any position. Load capacity, depending on the legs used, is up to 50kg. The modular construction allows different legs to be used as needed, individually or in any combination. You can adapt a single leg to make a monopod. Each base has three sockets to accept 1/4" screw accessories like Novoflex arms. Basis has a fixed four leg position, with platform which has reversible 1/4" or 3/8" screw head connection. Weight 850g. Basis Variable has four 90° leg settings, or by depressing two buttons underneath, two leg positions can be adjusted to create conventional tripod 120° angles, plus one extra leg. Increases weight by 150g. Basis with Centre Column has fixed four leg position, with sliding reversible centre column which has a retractable weight hook. Increases working height by up to 27cm, and weight by 200g. Features common to all versions are: - Built-in bubble level. - Three 1/4" sockets for Novoflex accessories like rods or flexible arms. - Three leg angle settings.
