The Trekker design is a favourite with nature photographers, as it features the same 'upside down' leg construction which allows it to be used safely in mud or water. It's now available with the later swivel end centre column, or with the original plain end type, similar to the Benbo Mk1 and 2 - but with a 1/4" screw connection. Mk3 version has geared faces on the main joint to provide firm locking with less tightening pressure, and folds more compactly.
