  • Depth of field is also known as 'depth of focus', and to maximise this it is necessary to focus the lens at the 'hyperfocal distance'. The problem is that many modern lenses do not have these depth of field markings.
  • On one side the DEPSSI card shows the hyperfocal distance at 5 aperture settings for many of the most popular focal lengths.
  • On the other are sunrise and sunset indications for each month of the year in the UK, and all other European countries between 45-55° latitude N. Just align the arrow on the card with true north on a map and read off the position.
  • The card fits in a wallet credit card slot, and is laminated and edge sealed for waterproofing and durability.
  • There are two versions - one for 35mm and full-size sensor digital SLRs, and one for 1.5x/1.6x magnification APS-C size digital SLRs.
